Temptation

Influence Character Problem

In each of the stories below, the source of the Influence Character's drive arises from the urge to embrace immediate benefits despite possible consequences (IC Problem: Temptation). The "flip side" to this Problem, and the sort of thing that would alleviate the Influence Character's drive lies in forgoing an immediate benefit because of future consequences (IC Solution: Conscience). At the point of crisis the Main Character will have a decision to make: either do things the way they always have (Remain Steadfast) or adopt the alternative viewpoint presented by the Influence Character (Change). If the Main Character remains steadfast then the Influence Character will be the one that changes and will do so by adopting his or her Solution. If instead the Main Character Changes then the Influence Character will Remain Steadfast and hold on to this "Problem".
