Hope you had -- and are still having -- a great holiday! Quick review of what's coming up in Dramaticaland: Tomorrow night, Tuesday 9/8, we have the Users Group led by Chris Huntley. We will analyze the 1945 film "Brief Encounter", a British romantic drama based on a Noel Coward play, directed by David Lean. The movie will run in the conference room starting at 5:00, and the discussion begins at 7:00, at Write Bros. in Burbank.
If you're remote, be sure to arrange your Google-Plus participation with Jim Hull -- for information visit http://dramatica.com/community/users-group/online
For the Writers Group next week, Tuesday Sept. 15th, we are going to move up the project originally scheduled for 10/6. It's a TV pilot script by Anyes V. She plans to send it out for reading this Wednesday. She says the script is about 70 pages right now (which she knows is running long, but she hopes the feedback will help her cut it down to 60).
I will send out a reminder later, but in the meantime if you plan to attend the DWG on 9/15, let me know and I'll forward the script to you when it's ready. As always, please commit to writing the author if you receive the work and then miss the meeting.
That leaves our two October meetings, 10/6 & 10/20, open, so feel free to contact me anytime if you want to schedule a project for either date.
That's what's on the docket. See you tomorrow night!
