Hey Dramatistripmalllawyers,

Before getting to Writers Group business, a reminder that we will be analyzing Disney/Pixar's "Inside Out" at the Users Group tomorrow evening, Tuesday April 12th, at Write Bros. in Burbank.  The movie will screen in the conference room starting at 5:00, and the meeting itself begins at 7:00 p.m.  (Note:  This is a change of plans from the originally published DUG schedule.)

For the DWG next Tuesday, April 19th, we will review a spec script from Adam V. for the sitcom "New Girl" starring Zooey Deschanel.  It will be roughly 30 pages long, and Adam plans to get it out for reading this Wednesday.  If you're going to be at the meeting next Tuesday, write me back in the next couple of days and I will forward you the script as soon as it's available.

If you're not already familiar with "New Girl" you may want to catch a couple of episodes so you know what the show and the characters are about.  Besides a new episode on Tuesday and reruns on cable, you may be able to find it on streaming services like Netflix or on-demand in your cable box.  (Hopefully for free!)

And as always, be sure to commit to contacting the author on your own if you receive their work and then miss the meeting.  I'll provide Adam's e-mail address if you need it.

After 4/19 we are wide open on the DWG slate, so if you'd like to schedule a project for May 3rd or 17th, just talk to me.
