Since no one has stepped forward with a project for this week's Writers Group -- and since we usually cancel the first meeting of September anyway (because normally the date falls right next to the holiday) -- I'm going to go ahead and call off the 9/1 session, take a late-summer hiatus.
We will, however, definitely still meet for the Users Group the day after Labor Day, Sept. 8th. We have an old-fashioned romance drama to watch & discuss, "Brief Encounter" from 1945, directed by David Lean, so keep that on your calendar.
Looking at future DWG dates, if you want to schedule a project for 9/15, let me know at your earliest convenience. As for October, we have a tentative commitment for 10/6, but 10/20 is still open. Always feel free to book in advance (you get a 100% discount if you do!).
So enjoy the summer doldrums, and we'll see you at the movie on the 8th!
