Be sure to read the materials for the spec television series by Karl K. and Susan J. and be ready discuss it this Tuesday, August 20th, at the Writers Group in Burbank.  Remember, there's a one-hour pilot, an additional one-hour episode, and a 17-page series overview or "bible".  (If you're limited on time, I would prioritize the pilot script.)  If you plan to attend and don't have the reading yet, let me know right away and I will forward it to you.

That discussion will take place at 7:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday in the conference room at Write Brothers.

Our next DWG after that will be September 17th, so let me know if you'd like to schedule a project for that date.

I have a special announcement to make:  DWG member Sarah Hohman just made the semi-finals of the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards.  Yayyyy Sarah!  And she did it with a romantic comedy script she brought to the group and rewrote with the feedback she got.  (Yayyy us!)  This is the script that was titled "The Rule of Three" when we saw it, but she later renamed "After Ever".  You can see her listed at this link, under the Comedy section:
