Starvingwriter Games: Catching DWG

November 17, 2013

Hey Dramatitributes,

Be sure to read Adam V.'s TV pilot script and be ready to discuss it this Tuesday, Nov. 19th, at the Writers Group in Burbank.  If you don't have the material yet and plan to attend, let me know as soon as possible and I will forward it to you.  The script is 67 pages long.  (We're a little light on the responses this time, so I hope a few more of you will sign on.  Just please don't wait until the last minute -- I'm often not on e-mail most of the day on Tuesday.)

That meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. PST at Write Bros., Inc., as usual.

After this we have two DWG meetings left in the year, 12/3 & 12/17.  We have two projects tentatively eyeing those dates, and I want to mention that whoever speaks up first to lock down either date will get it.  In any event, if you have something to submit soon, just talk to me and we'll work it out.

That's our update -- see you on Tuesday!

Sandy

P.S.  One of our illustrious DWG members has another feather in her cap -- Sarah Hohman has placed third in the annual "One In Ten" Screenplay Contest.  She did it with her script “What's Up With Jay?” which she developed with substantial input from the Dramatica group.  Here is the link announcing it:   http://www.screenplaycontests.com/oneinten/winners.html

(This makes two of her scripts which have placed in contests recently.)  Way to go Sarah!!
