Hope you had a nice late-summer respite, recharged and ready to get back in the groove!  We have a script to read for next week's Writers Group meeting, but first let me remind you about the Users Group tomorrow night, Sept. 9th.  We will analyze the 1957 B&W classic "Sweet Smell of Success" with Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis.  The movie will be shown at 5:00 pm, and the meeting starts at 7:00 PDT, in the usual location.  Hope you can join us!

For the DWG next Tuesday, 9/16, we will review a rewrite of a TV pilot script by Latoya W.  She expects to send it out for reading this Wednesday, the 10th.  If you plan to come next week, write me back in the next couple of days to let me know, and I will forward you the material once it's available.  I expect it to be roughly 60 pages long.

As always, be sure that, upon receiving the author's work, you're committed to participating in the discussion -- preferably in person at the meeting, but otherwise individually by e-mail or phone.  Let me know if you need Latoya's contact info.

Eyeing the future, our next few DWG meetings are already lined up, but if you want to schedule a project, just talk to me and we'll work it out.
