And you’re gonna hear me DWG
September 8, 2013
Hey Dramatitigers,
Please join us this Tuesday, Sept. 10th, for the Dramatica Users Group led by Chris Huntley. We will review the Frank Capra/Jimmy Stewart classic "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington". The movie will be shown in the conference room starting at 5:00 sharp (according to IMDB, it runs 129 minutes). The discussion will begin once it's done, a few minutes after 7:00.
Our next Writers Group gathering will be a week later, Sept. 17th. David C. and his writing partner are submitting the first act of a screenplay, along with a brief outline of where they plan to take the story from there. It will be a maximum of 35 pages of reading. They intend to have it ready for distribution by Thursday of this week (9/12).
If you plan to attend the 9/17 DWG, let me know anytime between now and Thursday, and I will forward you the material as soon as it's available. As always, if you receive the author's work and then can't make the meeting, be sure to contact the author individually with your feedback -- I will provide David's e-mail address at your request.
Our October DWG dates, 10/1 & 10/15, are both still open if you'd like to schedule a project then. All ya gotta do is ask.
That's it! See you on Tuesday!
Sandy
