Hey gang,

Thanks to everyone who came Tuesday night and participated in the discussion of E.A.'s script.  We are now ready to move on to the next visionary epic at DWG.  Susan J. is presenting a project from her roommate which she is a contributor to, a spec television series.  The reading consists of two one-hour scripts, the pilot episode (64 pages) and a sample regular episode (54 pages).  There is also a "series bible" (17 pages).  And it is all ready to go out for reading now.

We will discuss this project a week from Tuesday, on Aug. 20th.  If you plan to be there, let me know anytime and I will forward the material to you.

As always, please keep in mind that if you receive an author's work and then can't make the meeting, be sure to contact the author (or in this case, Susan) individually with your comments.  I will provide the appropriate contact info if necessary.

In the interim, we have the Users Group meeting next week on Aug. 13th, where we will review "A Separation", the Iranian film that won an Oscar last year for Best Foreign Film.  Movie at 5:00 (sharp!), discussion at 7:00 or shortly thereafter.
