Hey Dramatikemosabes,

First order of business:  Please join us this Tuesday, July 9th, for the Dramatica Users Group led by Chris Huntley.  We will review the original 1939 "The Wizard of Oz".  (I know what you're thinking -- we haven't storyformed that already?? Well, no, and it's about time!!)  The film will be screened in the conference room starting at 5:00 (it's always good to get a refresher before an analysis!), and the discussion starts at 7:00, at the usual location in Burbank.

Second order of business:  We have a script to review at our next Writers Group, taking place Tuesday, 7/16.  Susan J. (a returning member whom some of you met last Tuesday) is submitting a full draft of a screenplay -- a brisk 89 pages -- which she describes as a sci-fi/war film.  If you plan to attend the DWG week after next, let me know anytime and I will forward the script to you.

To reiterate our policy, if you receive the material and then can't make the meeting, please please please get in touch with the author individually by e-mail or phone, and please do so in a timely manner.  Every copy of a person's work that goes out should get a response.  I will get you Susan's contact info if you need it.

Finally, if you have a project you'd like to schedule at an upcoming meeting, our two August dates -- 8/6 & 8/20 -- are clear, so just arrange it with me.
