Men in Black hides an enormous cosmic bureaucracy behind the familiar streets of New York. In this session, the group follows J’s initiation into that world and the evolving partnership with K, asking how secrecy, procedure, and identity organize the film’s comic action. We test the Four Throughlines to distinguish the film’s inventive surface from the dramatic argument carrying it.
