Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train turns a chance encounter into a dangerous exchange of obligations. The group traces the mounting pressure between Guy and Bruno, testing where their personal stakes intersect with the larger plan that keeps tightening around them. Along the way, we use the Four Throughlines to separate the film’s suspenseful storytelling from its underlying dramatic structure.
